1. Introduction & Scope
Go-Matric ("we", "our", "us", operating under EthioLearn Platforms) provides an offline-first mobile education application (et.gomatric.mobile) and web services for Ethiopian Grade 9–12 students and national matric (EUEE) exam candidates. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how it is secured, and how you can exercise your rights, in full compliance with Google Play Developer Policies and data protection standards.
2. Information We Collect
Student Nickname, unique Username, encrypted password hash, and optional Telegram handle. No email is required for registration.
Non-resettable hardware device signature used strictly to enforce our 1 account = 1 device policy and offline cryptographic license tokens.
Bank transaction reference IDs, sender telephone numbers, and optional bank receipt screenshots uploaded solely for Telebirr / CBE payment verification.
Lesson progress, quiz scores, bookmarked cards, and exam trial accuracy are stored 100% offline on your device via SQLite database.
3. How We Protect Your Data
All network communication between the mobile app and our servers uses industry-standard TLS 1.3 encryption. Device license tokens are cryptographically signed using HMAC-SHA256. We do not sell, rent, or monetize student data under any circumstances.
